making the subject an enjoyable read and easy to
understand. A massive bonus is heaps of colour
computer generated illustrations covering every, and
I mean every, term . . .

brim with every scrap of information that both
novice and experienced sailor will welcome as

Reading this book is an excellent way to improve your
sailing skills. It is quite complete and the text is as clear
as any we have seen. But what really sets this book
apart is its illustrations. They are simply utstanding.
This is one of the few places where first time spinnaker
users can turn for help both in rigging their boats and in
using the sail.
This book is beautiful. The paper is heavily coated
and the four color illustrations are works of art.
Makes a wonderful gift - but be sure to get one for

. . . Ivar Dedekam has produced an excellent, clearly
written and profusely illustrated shortcut to sail and rig
tuning that will allow most sailors to climb the long
learning curve much more quickly.
In his introduction, he acknowledges that the book was
originally inspired by my own "bible" on the subject,
"The North U. Fast Course". I believe, however,Ivar's to
be more comprehensive and better value for money. I
will urge anyone who takes their sailing seriously
to buy a copy. |

isn't a thing you don't already know about sails and how
they work, this book is valuable to you. Why?
Because when your wife's second cousin Percy comes
aboard and starts asking endless boring questions about
airflow and rigging choices, you can just hand him this
